Some random holiday stuff
Busy times, busy times! The last weeks have been so busy I didn’t even have time to check my mails on a daily basis. But by the end of the week all will settle down and it will become a bit more peacefull. So what have I been doing these past weeks?
First of all I spent the month of July working at a local store. So I made some extra bucks. July was a quit pokermonth except for the second edition of Pokercamp. A lower turnout then last year, but I had fun! It wasn’t profitable for me but I know where the leaks are and I’m not sure what I’m going to do about it, I’m still working on that.
Next I went on a citytrip with my girlfriend to Budapest! I really loved it! Nice city, lots to see,… Especially the Terror Haza Museum is a must see! The building was first used by the Nazi’s as there headquarters during WWII. After that the communist regime took over. And they just did the same as the Nazi’s earlier. Interrogating, torturing and murdering people. Apart from this terror house there are also fun stuff to go and see. But as you know city-trips can be exhausting. You get up early to do a lot of sightseeing and you go to bed late because, you know it’s a holiday!
After the little trip to Budapest, the day after, Thomas Vanbrabant and Michiel Maes organized the first Togenblik Beer Pong Championship (Togenblik is our local youthcenter)! I participated with my good buddy Jonas De Ridder and we came in third! Michiel Maes and Niels Blommaert took down the firt Beer Pong Championship, and I believe we are going to hear for it for quit some time!
After that awesome event, I redecorated my girlfriends room along with my futher mother in law. I can tell you wallpaper with a patron is a bitch! I’m not going into detail why it’s a bitch, just believe me it’s a bitch!
That brings us to this week! And what am I doing? Oh yeah that’s right I’m working another week in the local store. So where do I squeeze in the pokerstuff? For now nowhere actually! I haven’t been playing that much poker. But it is going to change in the near future! This friday another HSOP-event kicks off. Maybe my all time favourite! The Seven Card Stud event! I’m really looking forward to this event and I’m hoping to capture my fifth HSOP-title!
Apart from that I’m planning some other poker related stuff but I’ll keep you guys posted!
